TRAINING

KRP develops and delivers tailor-made training packages from country and company crisis management level through to response teams and individuals who deal with hazards both on and off shore in the public and industrial sectors.

Our training provides experiences for emergency response personnel preparing for 'day one' on the job and up-skilling for those who are experienced in the industry.

Every year, we train professional and volunteer emergency responders enhancing their skills and maintaining their competencies. Our training is aligned to programmes such as NFPA, Joiff and ITRA and can be designed to meet your companies specific competence requirements. or we can we can provide New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) single or multiple unit standard based training packages.

We are both New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and International Technical Rescue Association (ITRA) instructor/assessors. Both these organisations provide a process that is quality assured and accredited and is recognised by many organisations throughout the world. Upon achieving a course pass, your team members will be assigned an NZQA / ITRA number and have their training registered in the data base.

Our courses and structured training programmes are developed from the 250 plus emergency response and management unit standards designed to meet the requirements of guides and standards such as the National Fire Protection Association and municipal and industry sector training practices.

All of our instructors have been, and some still are professional emergency responders specialising in All-Hazards emergency response.
